Community funded Research into Black Shale contaminated Groundwater continues



Water Wells First is announcing an invitation to the Public to see firsthand the need to investigate why Black Shale particles are contaminating well water in Chatham-Kent.

Come out and see the very first initial monitoring stations that will investigate the relationship between Water Well Interference from turbidity and Kettle Point Black Shale sediments and operating Wind Turbines in the former township of Dover in Chatham-Kent.

Event 1- Thursday, Noon, March 9, 2017 home of Jeff Avey at 1357 Nelson Street Extension Wallaceburg

Event 2- Thursday, 1PM, March 9, 2017 home of Marc St Pierre at 7823 Bayline Rd. Dover township

Water Wells First members have brought deputations before the C-K Council last year placing on the record the serious degradation of Source Water in the municipality.

To date, NO effective Council motions have been passed to address this Environmental Travesty.
