Samsung has now begun to supply small water tanks for well owners who have lost their wells due to contaminated sediments being released into their well water from pile driving for the North Kent Wind turbine foundations.

Samsung and Pattern Development are joint owners of the the North Kent Wind Farm.  Chatham-Kent Municipality invested 8 Million dollars into North Kent Wind and has an ownership stake and liability exposure.

A number of families are very scared that Samsung is supplying water with a dire warning. Why is Samsung being allowed to get away with this?

Warnings that the water may not be safe only strengthens the tensions that Samsung is continuing to hurt families through the North Kent Wind farm project without being held accountable.

As of today 12 wells have filed well interference complaints with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change that Water Wells First is aware of. If you have any well problems please contact Water Wells First through our website or Facebook page so that we can document the extent of this damage to our aquifer and as a community based organization use the strength in our numbers to hold these corporations accountable.
